My Favorite Whole Foods Finds

1948 Views

We are regular Whole Foods shoppers — moreover (I’ve never used that word in my writing before, but it feels right), we are also regular Instacart users.  Which means we use the Instacart app to load our virtual grocery cart, schedule the time we want it delivered, and then some nice person shows up at that time with all of our treats from Whole Foods.  It’s a dream!  The amount of time I save each week by using Instacart has allowed me to keep up with other things I need or want to be doing.  I am all for paying for a time saving service!

In any case, now that Whole Foods has been in the neighborhood for a bit, I wanted to share some of my favorite finds that I recommend you try next time you’re there (or your Instacart shopper is there). . .

Creamy Greek Yogurt DressingThis dressing is the best!  I can be quoted in my own book saying that I’ll claim to hate you if you say you love salad.  So I won’t go to the level of saying “this makes me love salad” just to keep up my reputation . . . but . . . just buy the dressing, okay?

Electrolyte Water:  Let’s be clear, it is probably better to refill a reusable water container to save money and the planet and stuff.  But, if you’re going to buy a bottle of water, I recommend this electrolyte water mainly for the size of the bottle (I buy the 1.5L size) and because it doesn’t taste weird.  And who doesn’t need electrolytes as we head into a super hot summer?!

Siete Grain Free Tortilla Chips:  Want to eat chips and salsa and not feel like trash afterwards?  Try these puppies!  I’ve been a fan of the lime flavored ones lately.  They are light enough that you don’t have the “I wish I didn’t binge ate all those chips” feeling afterwards, but they are firm enough that they won’t totally break apart in your salsa.

Stonyfield Organic Greek Yogurt:  I’ve tried a lot of greek yogurt brands, but I give this one a thumbs up!  I never get tired of this one and they have a variety of flavors, including superfruit, which just makes you feel like you must be meeting or exceeding some daily level of fruits if you eat it!

Whole Foods Guacamole:  I don’t even know why you’d try to make your own, really.  I mean, I’ve made guacamole myself when I was experimenting with new recipes — mainly, because it seemed easy.  But don’t even worry your little self with buying limes and jalapenos and finding the perfect avocado.  Just buy the pre-made guacamole in the produce section of Whole Foods.  You won’t regret it!
